New Delhi: Navratna public sector undertaking RailTel Corporation of India Ltd. has received a significant work order worth ₹1,01,82,38,520 from the Public Financial Management System (PFMS). The order pertains to the supply and services segment and marks a major addition to RailTel’s growing portfolio of IT and digital infrastructure projects.
Details of the Work Order
According to the company, the scope of work includes the establishment and managed operations of IT Infrastructure, covering Data Centre (DC) and Disaster Recovery (DR) facilities. The project also encompasses Security Operations Centre (SOC) services and data centre colocation, aimed at strengthening PFMS’s digital and cybersecurity framework.
The execution timeline for the project extends up to 7 January 2031, indicating a long-term engagement focused on ensuring reliable, secure, and efficient IT infrastructure management.
