New Delhi: RailTel Corporation of India Ltd has won a major domestic contract worth ₹27.04 crore from Andhra Pradesh Central Power Distribution Corporation Limited (APCPDCL). The project strengthens RailTel’s growing presence in India’s public sector digital and telecom infrastructure space.
The state-owned telecom and IT services company received the Letter of Acceptance (LoA) on January 26, 2026, and has disclosed the development to stock exchanges in line with SEBI’s LODR Regulation 30 requirements.
Project to Modernise APCPDCL’s Communication Network
Under the contract, RailTel will provide an end-to-end Software Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN) solution across APCPDCL offices. The project aims to enhance secure, scalable, and high-performance connectivity for the power distribution utility.
Scope of Work Includes:
- Supply of SD-WAN devices
- Installation and deployment
- Testing and commissioning
- Network configuration and setup
- Associated hardware and software licences
- Five-year comprehensive warranty and technical support
The project is scheduled to run until January 24, 2031, highlighting its long-term nature and RailTel’s commitment to sustained service support.
