11 IPS have been selected for DGP Disc and Commendation role. DGP ML Lather has issued an order in this regard on Thursday.
Three Additional Director General of Police, 2 Inspector General of Police and 5 Deputy Inspector General of Police officers are named in the list released. In this regard, 11 IPS officers have been selected for DGP disc and commendation role as a result of commendable work in the field of Sports/Training/Reserve Police Lines/Special effort towards improvement in general administration, welfare and supervision.
Among them Additional Director General of Police Housing A.K. Ponuchami, Additional Director General of Police SDRF Sushmita Biswas, Additional Director General of Police Traffic Vijay Kumar Singh, Inspector General of Police Human Rights Bipin Kumar Pandey, Inspector General of Police RAC Lata Manoj Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police Planning, Modernization and Welfare Ashok Kumar Gupta, Deputy Inspector General of Police Civil Rights Dr. Ravi and Dr. Vikas Pathak, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CID CB Rahul Kotoki, Deputy Inspector General of Police Armed Battalion First Omprakash-II and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Railways Rajesh Singh are involved.
