Rajasthan: 17 IAS Officers Shifted, Gaurav Goyal Appointed Secy to Governor

The Rajasthan government has ordered a major reshuffle, transferring 17 IAS officer across the state. According to the order, senior IAS officer Gaurav Goyal will now serve as Secretary to the Governor. He has taken the place of Subir Kumar who had requested for his transfer.

IAS Anupama Jorwal has been made MD of RTDC whereas IAS Neha Giri has been given the responsibility of Medical Services Corporation Limited as its MD. In Ms. Giri’s place, IAS Mukul Sharma will now take charge as Joint Secretary, Industry and Commerce Department. He has also been given the additional charge of MD of RAJSICO, Jaipur.

IAS Suresh Ola has been given the responsibility of DLB Director while IAS officer Prithviraj Sankhala has been transferred for the second time in 21 days. He was removed from agriculture and appointed as Principal Secretary in the Sports Department and now, he has been transferred to the Labour Department. Subir Kumar has been appointed Principal Secretary, Higher and Technical Education, while Bhawani Singh Detha is Principal Secretary, Planning-Statistics Dept. IAS Vikas S. Bhale is now  Principal Secretary, Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Gopalan.

PC Kishan has been made Secretary, Skills and Entrepreneurship, Employment Department. Vijaypal Singh has been appointed as Commissioner in the Sanskrit Education Department. Rashmi Gupta is posted as Secretary, Home Department, Vishram Meena as Director-ex-officio, Special Secretary, Watershed Development and Soil Conservation Department.

IAS Priyanka Goswami is Chief Executive Officer, State Health Insurance Agency, IAS Kishore Kumar is Director, Civil Aviation and Deputy Chief Protocol Officer, GAD. Dr. Mahendra Khadgawat is Director, State Insurance and Provident Fund Department. IAS Girdhar is Joint Secretary, Energy Department; IAS Bhawani Singh Detha gets the Additional charge of Youth Affairs and Sports Department, IAS Rajan Vishal gets the additional charge of Administrative Reforms and Coordination.
