Rajasthan: 40 IAS Transferred, 16 Given Addl Charge, Kuldeep Ranka Made ACS, Social Justice & Empowerment; Check Full List Here

The Rajasthan Department of Personnel (DOP) transferred 40 senior IAS officers and gave additional charge to 16 others. Seniormost IAS officer Subodh Agarwal was shunted out of the secretariat and given charge as the Director General of Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sansthan.

Kuldeep Ranka, who was awaiting posting order (APO) and was the Principal Secretary to former CM Ashok Gehlot, is now the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Social Justice and Empowerment department.

Manju Rajpal has been shifted from the Rural Development department to Jaipur Development Authority (JDA) as its Commissioner. Sandesh Nayak will be the new Special Secretary to the Chief Minister.
With the state Budget around the corner, ACS Akhil Arora has retained finance, excise, and taxation departments.

Aparna Arora gets charge of revenue, colonisation department. However, Arora had to give up the IT and communication department and DIPR. Similarly, ACS Anand Kumar retained home, home defence, jail and the Rajasthan State Investigation Bureau, but had to surrender the transport department, which has now gone to ACS Sreya Guha. She has also been given additional charge as chairperson of RSRTC. Chief secretary Sudhansh Pant has the additional charge as chief resident commissioner, New Delhi.

Ajitabh Sharma, chair man of the Jaipur City Transport Services Ltd for over a year, has been given charge of the industries and MSME department as its principal secretary, while T Ravikanth takes charge as principal secretary of the urban development and housing department. He will also hold additional charge as principal secretary to the chief minister and local self government department.

Samit Sharma, who held the charge of the social justice and empowerment department earlier, has been given charge secretary of the PHED and groundwater department. He also has additional charge of DIPR.
While ACS Abhay Kumar got the water resources department with additional charge of rural development and panchayati raj departments, ACS Shubhra Singh retained charge of the medical, health and family welfare department.

He also has additional charge of the medical education department. ACS Sandeep Verma, who was in charge of the science, technology department, has been given the Public Works Department (PWD).
ACS Aparna Arora will hold charge of the revenue and colonisation department, while Kunji Lal Meena, the director general of Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj Sansthan, will move to the Indira Gandhi Nahar Board as its chairperson.

In addition, Bhaskar Atmaram Sawant, who held charge of the energy department and discoms, has been transferred to the food and civil supplies department as its principal secretary. Bhanu Prakash Yeturu will be the chairman of discoms.

Principal secretary Alok Gupta gets the charge of the energy department, and Vaibhav Galriya the agriculture and horticulture department. Ashutosh AT Pednekar has been appointed secretary in-charge of the rural development department. Gourav Goyal, who was under APO, has been given the charge of administrative reforms and coordination as its secretary. Arti Dogra, who was also on APO, has been given the information technology and communication department.

Rajan Vishal, also on APO, has been made Secretary of the Minority Affairs department. While Anandhi has been made Secretary of the Mines and Petroleum department, Mukul Sharma has been appointed Collector of Salumbar.
