Jaipur: In one of the biggest police reshuffles in recent months, the Rajasthan government on Friday transferred 64 IPS officers, bringing major changes in the Jaipur Police Commissionerate, district police leadership, intelligence units and specialised wings.
The reshuffle includes new appointments for key posts in Jaipur, Jodhpur, border districts, and several strategically important police units, with multiple senior officers moved across commissionerates and district commands.
Major Changes in Jaipur Police Commissionerate
The most prominent changes were made in Jaipur city policing.
Ajay Singh Appointed Additional CP (Crime)
Ajay Singh has been posted as Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), Jaipur, replacing Manish Agarwal.
Manish Agarwal has now been shifted to the intelligence wing at police headquarters.
Ranjita Sharma Becomes DCP East
Ranjita Sharma has been appointed DCP (East), Jaipur, replacing Sanjeev Nain.
Sanjeev Nain has been posted as SP Jaipur Rural.
