RITES Limited has signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with NMDC Limited to deliver comprehensive project management consultancy (PMC) services. This collaboration aims to enhance, develop, and establish rail connectivity for NMDC’s mines and related facilities across various locations.
Under this partnership, RITES will provide end-to-end consultancy services, covering everything from initial concept to commissioning. Key activities include reconnaissance surveys, feasibility studies, Detailed Project Reports (DPR), and project management for rail connectivity initiatives. The scope will also encompass associated civil works, such as roads, bridges, and other essential infrastructure to support efficient transportation and logistics within NMDC’s operational areas.
This collaboration highlights RITES’ expertise in managing complex railway infrastructure projects and NMDC’s dedication to improving operational efficiency through modern rail connectivity. Leveraging its proficiency in railway engineering and project management, RITES will support NMDC in executing these vital projects, facilitating the transport of raw materials and enhancing logistical capabilities.
