New Delhi: Roopesh Kumar Tiwari has officially assumed charge as the Executive Director (Human Resources) at Petronet LNG Ltd., marking a significant addition to the company’s leadership team. His appointment is at a level one tier below the Board of Directors, and it comes as part of the company’s continued efforts to strengthen its strategic HR capabilities amid a rapidly evolving energy sector.

With a professional journey spanning over 26 years, Mr. Tiwari brings with him extensive experience across multiple industries, including cement, pharmaceuticals, software, aviation training, and public sector food distribution.

Mr. Tiwari holds a Bachelor of Science degree with specializations in Chemistry and Zoology, followed by a Master’s in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations from Lucknow University. Over the course of his career, he has held key HR leadership roles at renowned organizations such as Penna Cement, Kesoram Industries, Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Sumtotal Systems, CAE Simulation, and the Food Corporation of India Ltd.

The remaining 50% of the equity is held by the public and other investors.
