New Delhi: Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) has been honoured with the prestigious SKOCH Gold ESG Award 2025 for its outstanding “Green Initiatives,” reinforcing the company’s commitment to sustainable and environmentally responsible logistics operations.

The award was presented at a ceremony held in New Delhi on September 20, 2025, where Mr. Swayambhu Arya, Executive Director (P&S), accepted the honour on behalf of CONCOR.

A Testament to CONCOR’s Green Vision

This recognition comes under the leadership and strategic guidance of CMD, Mr. Sanjay Swarup, whose focus on environmentally sound practices has been central to CONCOR’s operational philosophy. From reducing the company’s carbon footprint to implementing energy-efficient practices and promoting eco-friendly transportation models, CONCOR has positioned itself as a leader in sustainable logistics within the public sector.

The SKOCH ESG Awards spotlight excellence in Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practices among Indian enterprises. About CONCOR

Container Corporation of India Ltd. (CONCOR) is a Indian public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, established in 1988 to provide multimodal logistics solutions. It focuses on the inland handling and transportation of containers, primarily by rail, but also offers road, port management, air cargo, and cold chain logistics services to support both international and domestic trade. CONCOR operates a large network of Inland Container Depots (ICDs) and Container Freight Stations (CFSs) across India, providing services like warehousing, container repair, and customs clearance.
