New Delhi: State-owned Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has appointed Suyash Trivedi as Executive Director (Civil), Kolkata, strengthening its senior leadership team for railway, metro, and transportation infrastructure projects.
The appointment became effective from July 13, 2026, and was disclosed by RVNL through a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges under the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
Suyash Trivedi Joins RVNL After MMRCL Tenure
Before joining RVNL, Suyash Trivedi served as Executive Director (Civil) at Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL).
He joined RVNL on an immediate absorption basis after submitting his technical resignation from MMRCL, which was accepted earlier.
As per the company’s posting order, Trivedi reported at the RVNL Corporate Office in New Delhi on July 13 and was subsequently posted as Executive Director (Civil), Kolkata.

Appointed in E-9 Grade Under CPSE Pay Scale
RVNL has appointed Suyash Trivedi in the E-9 grade under the CPSE (IDA) pay scale of ₹1,50,000 to ₹3,00,000 per month.
His appointment will continue until his date of superannuation.
With this role, Trivedi has also become part of RVNL’s Senior Management Personnel, effective July 13, 2026.
Over 29 Years of Experience in Civil Engineering and Infrastructure
Suyash Trivedi brings more than 29 years of experience in civil engineering, infrastructure development, and large-scale project execution.
During his professional career, he has worked with several major government organisations, including:
- Engineers India Limited (EIL)
- Military Engineer Services (Ministry of Defence)
- Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC)
- Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation Limited (MMRCL)
His experience covers planning, design, execution, and management of complex infrastructure projects.
Appointment to Support RVNL’s Growing Infrastructure Projects
The appointment comes at a time when RVNL is expanding its presence in railway, metro, and multimodal transport infrastructure projects across India.
The company said Trivedi’s expertise will help strengthen its civil engineering operations and support the execution of major infrastructure assignments.
His extensive experience in metro and transportation projects is expected to contribute to RVNL’s ongoing development initiatives.
