New Delhi: Sarika Aggarwal Synrem has taken over as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a Navratna Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Railways. Synrem, a 2001 batch officer of the Indian Defence Accounts Service (IDAS), brings over 20 years of experience in financial management, governance, and institutional strengthening.
Distinguished Career in Public Service
Known for her integrity and people-centric approach, Synrem has held key leadership roles across the Defence Accounts Department, the Government of Meghalaya, the Indian Army, and the Indian Air Force.
Her notable contributions include –
- Strengthening financial and audit systems
- Overseeing capital acquisition processes
- Implementing administrative reforms
Participating in national initiatives such as the OROP pension revision and GST Council–led Groups of Ministers.
