SCOPE Champions Women’s Health with ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’ to Promote Preventive Care in Public Sector

Over 100 Public Sector Employees Participate in SCOPE’s Preventive Healthcare Drive Focused on Women’s Well-being and Workplace Awareness

New Delhi: The Standing Conference of Public Enterprises (SCOPE), in collaboration with Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, organized a special Health Program and Screening Camp as part of its ongoing initiative, ‘Swasth Nari, Sashakt Parivar Abhiyaan’. The event focused on women’s health and workplace well-being through awareness and preventive care.

Program Inaugurated by Key Public Sector Leaders

The event was inaugurated by:

  • Atul Sobti, Director General, SCOPE
  • Kranti E. Khargobade, Director, Department of Public Enterprises (DPE), Ministry of Finance
  • Sangeeta Ramrakhyani, Director (Personnel), Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) and Member, SCOPE Executive Board

Their presence highlighted the government’s commitment to advancing employee well-being, especially for women in Public Sector Enterprises (PSEs).

Expert Sessions on Women’s Health and Preventive Care

The initiative featured interactive health and awareness sessions along with a comprehensive screening camp conducted by senior medical professionals from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals:

  • Dr. Pakhee Aggarwal, Senior Consultant, Gynaecology & Oncology
  • Dr. Vanita Arora, Senior Consultant, Cardiac Electrophysiology

Both doctors addressed critical aspects of women’s health, including gynecological issues, heart health, and the importance of early detection and preventive care.

Over 100 PSE Participants Attend the Camp

More than 100 employees from various Public Sector Enterprises participated in the event. The program served as a valuable platform for promoting health literacy and personal wellness among women professionals.

This initiative is a part of SCOPE’s broader mission to embed preventive healthcare culture in the workplace. With a special focus on women’s health, SCOPE aims to support a healthier, more empowered public sector workforce.
