Senior IAS officer Yogita Rana, a 2003 batch officer of the Telangana cadre, has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre from her current role as Joint Secretary in the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare.
The Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) issued the order on Tuesday, stating that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the Department of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare’s proposal for her repatriation. The decision includes the condition of an extended cooling-off period.
During her illustrious career, Ms. Rana has held significant roles, including serving as the Director General of the National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE). She has also contributed to international and national developmental initiatives, working with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on the Umeed and Himayat projects in Jammu & Kashmir.
