1999 batch senior IAS officer of Bihar cadre, Mr Vinay Kumar has been empanelled for positions at the Additional Secretary (AS)/AS Equivalent level within the Government of India.
An official order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Thursday confirmed that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved Mr. Kumar’s empanelment for these prestigious roles at the central level.
Mr Kumar, a distinguished officer with a career marked by significant contributions to public administration, will now be eligible for senior positions in various central ministries.
This decision comes as part of the government’s ongoing efforts to empower capable officers with key leadership roles across various sectors to drive policy and administrative reforms effectively.
