Several bureaucrats were appointed as Private Secretaries to several Union Ministers.
- Ms. Ankita Chakravarty (2013-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer), presently posted as Deputy Secretary in the Ministry of Home Affairs, was appointed Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Woman and Child Welfare, Ms. Annapurna Devi.
- Mr. Pankaj Dixit (2011-batch Bihar cadre IAS officer) was appointed Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Science and Technology, Dr. Jitendra Singh.
- Mr. Sandeep Kumar Singh (2011-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) was appointed Private Secretary to the Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Gajendra Singh Sekhawat.
- Mr. Brahm Dutt (Retd. IAS officer) was appointed Private Secretary to the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Statistics and Programme Implementation, Mr. Rao Inderjit Singh.
- Mr. Eranki Venkata Bhaskar (2009-batch IRS officer) was appointed Private Secretary to the Union Minister of Coal and Mines, Mr. G Kishan Reddy.
