IRS officer Shefali Swaroop will continue to fulfill the additional responsibilities of the Chief Vigilance Officer for both Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL), Delhi, and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL), Delhi. She is an IRS-IT officer of 1993 batch serving as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of the Department of Telecommunications (DoT).
Her extension in BSNL & MTNL has been sanctioned for an additional period of six months, in accordance with an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday, August 7, 2023.
