Shiv Kumar Nigam, Deputy Director (OL) at the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has had his foreign deputation extended for an additional six months. He will continue serving as the Second Secretary (Hindi & Culture) at the High Commission of India in Port of Spain, Trinidad & Tobago.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Monday, the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal to extend the deputation tenure of Mr. Nigam to the post for further six months beyond 04.03.2024 or joining of his replacement or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
