Six IAS Trainees Appointed as Assistant Secretaries in Ministry of Commerce

Starting from May 20, 2024, untill July 12, 2024, these Officer Trainees will engage actively in the day-to-day operations of their assigned duties for an eight-week period.

After successfully completing their district training at the Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, six trainee IAS officers from the 2022 batch have been designated as Assistant Secretaries in the Ministry of Commerce at the central level.

The Trainee Officers are:

  • Anup Garg IAS (Kerala 2022), who holds an M.A. in Public Administration, recently completed his district training as Assistant Collector in Kannur, Kerala.
  • Ashik Ali P I IAS (Tamil Nadu 2022), who holds a B.Tech degree, recently finished his district training as Assistant Collector in Coimbatore District, Tamil Nadu.
  • Hemant Kumar IAS (Manipur 2022), also a B.Tech graduate, recently concluded his district training.
  • Mantri Mourya Bharadwaj IAS (Andhra Pradesh 2022), who holds a B.Tech degree, recently completed his district training as Assistant Collector in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh.
  • Shruti Rajlakshmi IAS (Jharkhand 2022), who earned her B.Tech in Computer Science, recently finished her district training as Assistant Magistrate-cum-Assistant Collector in Chaibassa, Jharkhand.
  • Yadav Ranjit Mohan IAS (Maharashtra 2022), a B.Tech graduate, recently concluded his district training as Supernumerary Assistant Collector in Chandrapur, Maharashtra.

Starting from May 20, 2024, untill July 12, 2024, these Officer Trainees will engage actively in the day-to-day operations of their assigned duties for an eight-week period. This phase is crucial for the Trainee Officers, offering them firsthand exposure to the intricate workings of the highest echelons of the Indian bureaucracy.
