Sumeet Kumar Jarangalhas been appointed as Director in the Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) for a period of five years. The competent authority has approved the appointment of Mr. Jarangal who is an IAS officer of 2009 batch and Punjab cadre, to the post under the central staffing scheme. An order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on 13th March 2023 confirmed his appointment.
