Mr Suprakash Adhikari has been appointed as the new Director (Technical) of the National Hydroelectric Power Corporation (NHPC). Mr Adhikari is currenty serving as Executive Director in NHPC.
His appointment follows the approval of a proposal by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet, based on a recommendation from the Ministry of Power. He will serve in this role until his superannuation on August 31, 2028, or until further notice.
The official order of appointment was issued by the Department of Personnel and Training on Tuesday, April 15, 2025.
