The government of Tamil Nadu has lately transferred some senior IAS officers. Mr. Dheeraj Kumar (1993 batch) became the state’s new Home Secretary, replacing Ms. P Amudha (1994 batch), who has been posted as the Secretary in the Department of Revenue and Disaster Management.
Mr. J. Kumaragurubaran (2004 batch) replaced Mr. J. Radhakrishnan (1992 batch) as the Commissioner of Greater Chennai Corporation. Officer Radhakrishnan has been posted as the Secretary in the Cooperation, Food and Consumer Protection Department, replacing Mr. K. Gopal (1992 batch), who was made Secretary of the Animal Husbandry, Dairying, Fisheries-Fishermen Welfare Department.
Chief Secretary Mr. Shiv Das Meena (1989 batch) mandated Ms. S. Madumathi (2003 batch) to assume the charge of Secretary in the School Education Department.
Mr. Kumar Jayant (1992 batch) has become the Secretary of the Information Technology and Digital Services Department, while Mr. Har Sahay Meena (1997 batch) has become the Secretary of the Special Initiatives Department. Mr. K. Veera Raghava Rao (2007 batch) became Secretary of the Labour Welfare and Skill Development.
