Mr. Tapas Kumar Pattanayak has been selected for appointment as the Director of Human Resources at the National Aluminium Company Limited at a Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) meeting held on October 21st, 2024. Mr. Pattanayak is presently serving as the Executive Director (HR) of Refineries Headquarters in New Delhi under the Maharatna PSU News Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

Mr. Pattanayak will be appointed to the post of Director (Human Resources) after receiving vigilance clearances and approval from the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC). The following 12 applicants were interviewed in the selection meeting:

  • Mr. Manas Ranjan Rath, Chief General Manager (Personnel) SAIL Corporate Office, Delhi, Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL).
  • Mr. Jitendra Kumar, Chief General Manager(Town Services), IISCO Steel Plant, Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL).
  • Mr. Prabir Kumar Biswas, General Manager GM(HR) NGEL, NTPC Limited.
  • Mr. Tekkam Sridhar, Chief Program Manager, REC Limited.
  • Ms. Vijaya Lakshmi Muralidharan, Additional General Manager(HR), NTPC Limited.
  • Mr. Srinivasu Parisi, Chairman, Railway Recruitment Board, Bengaluru, Ministry of Railways.
