BRS (Bharat Rashtra Samith) leader Mr. K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has kicked up dirt through his remarks against IPS and IAS officers during a recent party meeting in Sircilla. Telangana IAS and IPS officers’ associations have condemned his statements and called for an apology.

At the meeting, the politician accused Rajanna Sircilla District Collector, IAS Sandeep Kumar Jha (2014 batch), of behaving like a Congress worker, alleging that he encouraged BRS leaders to switch loyalties. He also warned officials of “repaying favours with interest” if they sought to appease the ruling party.

The Telangana IPS Association issued a statement on November 28th condemning the remarks as baseless and an affront to governance principles. The association reaffirmed officers’ commitment to impartiality, stating that such comments harm democratic institutions and the morale of civil servants.

The Telangana IAS Officers Institute also passed a resolution demanding an apology and a retraction. The group emphasized the impact of such statements on officers’ integrity and urged respectful discourse in public dialogue.

Both associations called for an immediate cessation of such accusations, reiterating the critical role of civil servants in upholding the rule of law and governance.
