The state government of Tripura has ordered a major reshuffle shifting 23 police officers including six IPS and rest TPS. An order in this regard was signed by Under Secretary J Datta.
According to the order, Anurag Dhankar has been posted as Additional Director General of Police, Law and Order. He has recently returned from central deputation.
Saurabh Tripathi was transferred to ADGP Police Headquarters. IPS Tripathi was ADGP, Law & Order.
Kulwant Singh, who was SP South District, was transferred as SP Economic Offence.
Sankar Debnath, IPS, appointed as Commandant of 6th Battalion of Tripura State Rifle.
Jayanta Chakraborty, IPS, appointed as AIGP (HQ)
And, Sudeshna Bhattacharyya, IPS, appointed Commandant of Home Guards.
