The Uttar Pradesh Police Department has undergone a reshuffle with the transfer of three IPS officers and two PPS (Provincial Police Service) officers, effective Tuesday.
In the latest changes:
2020 batch IPS officer Manush Pareek has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police for the City of Bareilly.
2021 batch IPS officer Anshika Verma has been designated as the in-charge Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) for Southern Bareilly. She was currently posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Gorakhpur.
2021 batch IPS officer Kunwar Akash Singh will now serve as the in-charge ASP for Moradabad Rural. He was previously serving as Assistant Superintendent of Police in Mathura.
In addition to the IPS transfers, two PPS officers have also been reassigned:
Arun Chandra has been appointed as the Additional Superintendent of Police for the Election Cell.
Akhand Pratap Singh will take on the role of Additional Superintendent of Police for District Sultanpur.
