Lucknow: In a significant administrative reshuffle aimed at accelerating development work and maintaining law and order, the Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 51 PCS (Provincial Civil Service) officers. The move comes as part of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s broader strategy to inject efficiency and accountability in the state’s administrative machinery.
The transfers cover strategically important and sensitive districts including Mathura, Ayodhya, Saharanpur, Bareilly, Shamli, Shahjahanpur, and Maharajganj – locations that play key roles in religious tourism, border security, and communal balance.
