Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath prioritized public welfare by personally interacting with citizens during a public hearing at Gorakhnath Temple on Monday, despite severe cold and challenging weather conditions. The CM directly engaged with residents, listened to their grievances, and assured timely resolutions, saying, “Do not worry, every problem will be addressed. The government will provide full assistance.”
Approximately 150 Grievances Heard at Gorakhnath Temple
The public hearing was held at the Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan auditorium within the Gorakhnath Temple premises. Around 150 citizens presented their issues to the Chief Minister. CM Yogi personally walked among the attendees, engaging in one-on-one conversations to understand their concerns better. Each grievance submitted in writing was handed over to officials, with clear instructions to ensure time-bound, transparent, and satisfactory resolutions.
Strict Action Against Illegal Land Encroachment
During the hearing, several citizens raised complaints regarding illegal occupation of land. The Chief Minister directed authorities to take stringent legal action against anyone forcibly occupying land, emphasizing that those exploiting the poor must not be spared under any circumstances. Where measurement or verification is required, he instructed officials to carry it out immediately to resolve disputes efficiently.
Focus on Peaceful Resolution of Family Disputes
For grievances related to family disputes, CM Yogi instructed officials to engage in dialogue with both parties to achieve peaceful and practical resolutions. This approach aims to avoid unnecessary stress and prolonged legal proceedings while ensuring fair outcomes.
Financial Support for Medical Treatment Assured
Several individuals approached the CM seeking financial assistance for medical treatment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured them that lack of funds would not hinder access to necessary healthcare. He directed officials to quickly prepare treatment estimates in coordination with hospitals and submit them to the government. Adequate funds will be provided from the Chief Minister’s discretionary fund to ensure citizens receive proper medical care.
Commitment to Citizen Welfare and Prompt Action
The public hearing underscored the Uttar Pradesh government’s commitment to citizen-centric governance. CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that every grievance, whether related to land, family disputes, or medical needs, would be addressed promptly and effectively, reflecting the administration’s focus on transparency, accountability, and welfare-oriented governance.
