Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday inaugurated the ‘Uttar Pradesh AI & Health Innovation Summit’ as part of the Global AI Impact Summit 2026. Addressing the event, the CM emphasized the growing importance of artificial intelligence (AI) in governance and healthcare, highlighting its potential to enhance efficiency, transparency, and accessibility of services.
POCT Group Showcases Digital Transformation in UP Hospitals
During the summit, CM Yogi visited the POCT Group stall, where Chairman Saurabh Garg presented the company’s contributions to digital healthcare in Uttar Pradesh. POCT has successfully digitized nearly all district hospitals, community health centers (CHCs), and healthcare institutions across the state, establishing a robust Laboratory Information System (LIS) that streamlines reporting and ensures timely delivery of lab reports directly to patients.
AI Strengthens Public Trust and Service Delivery
The Chief Minister praised POCT’s initiatives, noting that the digital integration has improved operational efficiency in healthcare services, strengthened administrative accountability, and increased public trust. “Through AI-enabled systems, community health centers can provide accurate and timely lab results, significantly improving healthcare delivery and citizen confidence,” he said.
