Indian Masterminds Stories

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is witnessing a transformative phase under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, where development, governance, and law enforcement have reshaped the state’s image. The focus on good governance, women’s safety, and speedy justice has created an environment of trust, while criminal elements face strict consequences for their actions.

Strong Message to Criminals: Zero-Tolerance Policy

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has sent a clear signal that crime, anarchy, and insecurity will not be tolerated in the state. Addressing the public, he emphasized that those burdening society with criminal activities will face action from both the government and legal authorities. The Chief Minister’s strict and proactive approach has shattered the morale of criminals while boosting the sense of safety among citizens.

“Not just justice, but timely justice is necessary,” Yogi stressed, highlighting the government’s efforts to ensure fast-track delivery of justice. Judicial processes that once dragged on for years are now being streamlined to deliver results within a fixed timeframe, reflecting the state’s commitment to the rule of law.

End of ‘One District, One Mafia’

Uttar Pradesh has transformed from being associated with mafia dominance to a state known for development initiatives such as ‘One District, One Medical College’ and ‘One District, One Product’. The government has taken decisive action against mafia leaders, removing political protection and ensuring that only the rule of law prevails. Illegal activities now carry significant consequences, providing a sense of security and justice to citizens.

Land Freed from Illegal Encroachments Benefits the Poor

The state government has reclaimed thousands of crores worth of land from illegal encroachments. This land is now being used to construct homes for the poor and other development projects. In Noida and Greater Noida, 350,000 stalled homebuyers have received possession of their homes, showcasing the government’s focus on development, trust, and justice.

UP’s Transformation from 2017 to 2025

Since 2017, Uttar Pradesh has made remarkable infrastructural progress –

  • Expressways: From 1.5 to covering 55% of India’s expressway network
  • Airports: From 2 to 16 operational airports
  • Rapid expansion of metros, smart cities, wide roads, and rapid rail connectivity

The government is also working to increase urbanization from 23% to 40% in the next three years, fostering a modern, fear-free society.

Women’s Safety and Empowerment

The safety and empowerment of women have been central to UP’s governance –

  • UP Police now has 44,000 women officers
  • Millions of women are becoming self-reliant through self-help groups
  • Schemes like Mission Shakti ensure women’s education, employment, and social security

Women in UP are now safer, more confident, and self-reliant, with development initiatives complementing social empowerment.

Development Takes Center Stage

Under CM Yogi Adityanath, Uttar Pradesh has emerged as a state where –

  • Law prevails over criminal power
  • Development is prioritized over fear
  • Land previously controlled by mafia is now used for public welfare
  • Citizens, especially daughters, feel safe and empowered

This transformation reflects good governance, effective administration, and strategic policies, which are visible across cities, towns, and villages in the state.
