In a significant administrative reshuffle on Monday, the Uttar Pradesh government transferred three IAS officers and nine PCS officers, assigning them to various important positions across different departments and universities.
IAS officer Brijesh Narayan Singh has been appointed as the Commissioner and Registrar of Cooperative Societies. This role will involve overseeing cooperative societies throughout the state, ensuring their efficient operation. Rajesh Prakash has been named as the Director General of the Fisheries Department, where he will be responsible for advancing fisheries-related initiatives. Additionally, Rajesh Kumar has been given the added responsibility of serving as the Registrar of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University while continuing to hold his current post.
On the PCS front, Pushpraj Singh has been given additional charge as the Registrar of Prof. Rajendra Singh University, Prayagraj, while Hariom Sharma will now handle additional duties as the Registrar of Deen Dayal Upadhyay University, Gorakhpur. Vijay Kumar Singh takes on the role of Registrar for Raja Mahendra Pratap Singh University, Aligarh, in addition to his current responsibilities.
Other PCS officers impacted by the reshuffle include Pramod Kumar, now holding additional charge as the Registrar of Maa Pateshwari University, Balrampur; Dr. Vishram, who will serve as the Registrar of Maa Vindhyavasini University, Mirzapur; and Shashi Bhushan, who has been appointed as the Registrar of Guru Jambheshwar University, Moradabad.
Furthermore, Durgesh Mishra has been given the additional charge of registrar at Madan Mohan Malaviya Technical University, Gorakhpur, while Anju Verma will oversee Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur, in a similar capacity. Nirankar Singh has been assigned the role of registrar at Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath Ayush University.
