UP: 23 IAS Officers, Including DMs of 10 Districts, Transferred; Deepak Meena Posted as DM Gorakhpur, Medha Roopam as DM Noida

Lucknow: In a significant administrative reshuffle, the Uttar Pradesh government late on Monday transferred 23 IAS officers, changing the District Magistrates (DMs) of 10 key districts, including Gorakhpur, Ghaziabad, Prayagraj, Bahraich, Gonda, and Gautam Buddha Nagar. The reshuffle also involved senior bureaucrats being reassigned to pivotal roles in the Home, Finance, Education, Social Welfare, and Agriculture departments.

Key District Magistrate Transfers

Gorakhpur: Deepak Meena, previously DM of Ghaziabad, has been posted as DM.

Ghaziabad: Ravindra Kumar Mandar, former DM of Prayagraj, takes over as DM.

Prayagraj: Manish Kumar Verma, who was DM of Gautam Buddha Nagar, becomes the new DM.

Gautam Buddha Nagar: Medha Roopam, former DM of Kasganj, is the new DM.

Kasganj: Pranay Singh, Additional Commissioner (Administration) Sugarcane and MD of UP Sugar Corp Ltd., is the new DM.

Kanpur Dehat: Kapil Singh, formerly ACEO of Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority, becomes DM.

Bahraich: Akshay Tripathi, former DM of Lalitpur, has been made DM.

Lalitpur: Amandeep Duli, Special Secretary Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch, has been appointed DM.

Mirzapur: Pawan Kumar Gangwar, formerly Special Secretary, takes over as DM.

Gonda: Priyanka Niranjan, who was DM of Mirzapur, becomes the new DM.

Major Departmental Changes

Ayodhya Division: Gaurav Dayal, Divisional Commissioner, becomes Secretary, Home Department.

Rajesh Kumar, Secretary Home & Vigilance, becomes Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya.

Ministhi S becomes the new Sugarcane Commissioner, replacing Pramod Kumar Upadhyay, who is now Secretary, Social Welfare Department.

Dr. Sarika Mohan, former Secretary of Basic Education, is now Secretary, Finance Department.

Amrit Tripathi, CEO of Bundelkhand Industrial Development Authority (BIDA), has been appointed Secretary, Higher Education Department.

Vimal Kumar Dubey, Divisional Commissioner of Jhansi, gets additional charge as CEO of BIDA.

Other Notable Appointments

Neha Sharma, former DM of Gonda, becomes Inspector General of Registration.

Monica Rani, former DM of Bahraich, appointed Special Secretary, Basic Education and Additional Director General, School Education.

Alok Singh, DM of Kanpur Dehat, becomes Special Secretary, State Property and Property Officer.

Jai Nath Yadav, Joint Director in Disabled Empowerment Directorate, is now Special Secretary, Agriculture Production Commissioner Branch.

Pranata Aishwarya, Special Secretary Namami Gange & Rural Water Supply, has been made Chief Development Officer, Sitapur.
