Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh government has approved administrative and financial sanctions worth ₹18.41 crore for construction and infrastructure works for the state police department across several districts during the financial year 2026-27.
The total sanctioned amount is ₹18 crore 41 lakh 3 thousand, which will be used for the specified construction and infrastructure works. The government has directed that the projects be completed within the prescribed timelines and that the sanctioned funds be utilised by March 31, 2027.
Key Projects and Allocations
The approved works include:
- Mathura: ₹2.08 crore for a drainage channel, a 50-metre boundary wall and other works at the Police Lines; ₹1.25 crore for construction of non-residential buildings at Baroli Police Outpost under Baldev Police Station.
- Baghpat: ₹1.76 crore for a 32-capacity hostel/barrack and an investigation room at Chhaprauli Police Station.
- Pratapgarh: ₹89.59 lakh for construction of the Circle Officer’s office at Raniganj.
- Sultanpur: ₹2.89 crore and ₹2.84 crore for 48-capacity hostels/barracks and investigation rooms at Kadipur Police Station and Kotwali Nagar, respectively.
- Moradabad: ₹2.70 crore for a 48-capacity hostel/barrack and an investigation room at Kotwali Nagar Police Station.
- Fatehpur: ₹2.39 crore for a multipurpose hall for 200 personnel at the 12th Battalion PAC.
- Ghaziabad: ₹1.04 crore for replacement of deteriorated electrical wiring at the Reserve Police Lines.
- Aligarh: ₹57.69 lakh for construction of two halls for storing goods at the Police Lines’ GP Store.

Agencies Assigned to the Works
The Uttar Pradesh Housing and Development Council and C&D.S., Jal Nigam have been designated as implementing agencies for the two projects in Mathura.
The Uttar Pradesh Rajkiya Nirman Nigam will execute the two sanctioned works in Sultanpur.
The remaining projects will be implemented by the Uttar Pradesh Police Awas Nigam Limited.
The government has instructed the agencies to maintain construction quality and complete the sanctioned works within the stipulated period. The approved funds are required to be utilised by March 31, 2027.
