Lucknow: The Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UP RERA) has approved 11 real estate projects across five districts, involving a combined investment of ₹2,086.06 crore and development of 1,873 residential and commercial units.
The approvals were granted during the authority’s 215th meeting, chaired by UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy at the authority’s headquarters in Lucknow.
Gautam Budh Nagar Leads Investment
Gautam Budh Nagar accounted for the largest share of the proposed investment. Two residential projects in the district involve an investment of ₹1,800.36 crore and are expected to include 1,398 residential units.

Lucknow had the highest number of approved projects, with five projects comprising two residential and three commercial developments. Together, these projects involve an investment of ₹169.53 crore and 198 units.
The other approved projects are:
- Barabanki: One residential project involving ₹5.78 crore and 53 residential units.
- Ghaziabad: Two residential projects involving ₹106.84 crore and 211 residential units.
- Moradabad: One commercial project involving ₹3.55 crore and 13 units.
UP RERA Focuses on Regulated Real Estate Development
UP RERA Chairman Sanjay Bhoosreddy said the authority was working to make real estate development in the state more organised, transparent and accountable.
The approved projects span residential and commercial developments across the five districts. The figures represent the investment and units associated with the projects approved at the authority meeting.
