The government of Uttar Pradesh has recently carried out a bureaucratic reshuffle. IAS M Devaraj (1996 batch) has been appointed Principal Secretary in the Appointments Department with an additional charge of the GST department.
IAS Alok Kumar (1988 batch) has been given the charge of the Technical Education Department and also the work of MSME. IAS Ravindra has been appointed Principal Secretary in the Department of Agriculture.
IAS Monika Garg (1989 batch) became the Agriculture Production Commissioner while IAS Ravindra Nayak (1995 batch), last posted as the in-charge Principal Secretary in the Secretariat Administration, got the charge of the Animal Husbandry Department.
While handing out fresh appointments to its senior IAS officers, the UP Government relieved IAS Devesh Chaturvedi (1989 batch) for central deputation. Officer Chaturvedi had been serving as the Agriculture Production Commissioner.
