The projects, costing ₹39,453.39 lakh, are expected to restore irrigation capacity in 36,000 hectares, directly benefiting around nine lakh farmers and rural residents, while also protecting 273 hectares of government land.

CM Reviews Irrigation and Water Resources Department

The Chief Minister chaired a detailed review meeting of the Irrigation and Water Resources Department at his official residence on Wednesday. He directed officials to strengthen canal infrastructure and ensure timely completion of all approved works. CM Yogi emphasized strict adherence to quality standards, warning that action would be taken against any lapses in implementation.
