The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is likely announce the UPSC CSE – 2023 results today anytime soon. Once announced, candidates who have participated in the personality test will be able to view and download their results from the commission’s official website at upsc.gov.in.
The interviews or personality test for shortlisted candidates has already concluded on 9th April, 2024. Interviews for 2844 candidates had begun on January 4, 2024.
A total of 817 candidates were shortlisted to appear for the UPSC CSE 2023 Personality Test (Interview) in Phase 3, while the number of candidates for the Personality Test for Phase 1 was 1026 in and 1001 for Phase 2.
UPSC Main Exam was held on September 15, 16, 17, 23 and 24, 2023. The results were declared on December 8, 2023. Only the candidates who passed the Main examination have appeared in the UPSC interview.
This year, UPSC had notified 1,105 vacancies in the UPSC notification 2023. These include 180 vacancies for IAS officers and 200 vacancies for IPS officers.
In recent years, there has been a noticeable rise in the overall pass rate among female candidates. In the previous year, women applicants took the lead in securing top positions, exemplified by Ishita Kishore claiming AIR 1, followed by Garima Lohia, Uma Harathi N, and Smriti Mishra in the CSE – 2022 examination results.
Prior to that, Shruti Sharma clinched the top spot with All India Rank 1 in the UPSC CSE – 2021 examination.
How to download the UPSC CSE-2023 Results
- Step 1: Visit the UPSC official website – upsc.gov.in or https://upsconline.nic.in/
- Step 2: On the homepage, click on Final Result – Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2023 link available on the home page
- Step 3: The final result in the pdf format will appear on the screen
- Step 4: Check the Result and Roll number and download the page, For search Press keyboard shortcut Ctrl + F & search your name or roll number
- Step 5: Qualified candidates can keep a hard copy of the same for further need
Candidates who clear the UPSC Interview will be selected for Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and other Central Services (Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’) posts.
