UPPCS Prelims 2024 Postponed to July, Schedule Dates to Be Notified Soon Says the Commission

The UPPCS Prelims-2024 (UPPSC PCS-2024) exam has been postponed to July. The specific reason for the delay was not made public by the Commission’s notification. Further notification on the new schedule will be declared soon.

The UPPCS prelims exam was all set to be conducted on March 17. The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission, released a notification, postponing the exam to July. The Commission did not notified any schedule. Further notification regarding the dates to be notified soon. The reason behind the delay was not made clear in the Commission’s notification. The reason mentioned in the notification was stating that, “the examination is postponed due to unavoidable reasons”.

The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has also made headlines earlier. The Commission cancelled the preliminary examination for the post of Review Officer (RO)/ Assistant Review Officer (ARO) after the chaos due to allegations regarding paper leak. This paper according to Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has to be conducted again within six months.
