The Union Public Service Commission is conducting the Civil Services Preliminary Examination 2026 and the Indian Forest Service Examination 2026 today, May 24, in two sessions across the country. The first paper began at 9:30 AM and concluded at 11:30 AM, while the second paper will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM.
Candidates appearing for the examination will be able to check the provisional answer key once the exam process is completed. The Commission is expected to upload the answer key on its official website, UPSC.
Provisional Answer Key to Be Uploaded Online
Under the revised examination process, UPSC will publish the provisional answer key soon after the examination concludes. Candidates can download the PDF from the “What’s New” section available on the official portal.
The provisional answer key will help aspirants compare their responses and estimate their likely scores before the official result declaration.
Candidates Can Raise Objections Till May 31
UPSC has also provided an objection facility for candidates who find discrepancies in the provisional answer key. Aspirants can submit objections until May 31.
If any objection is found valid after review, the Commission may revise the answer and award marks accordingly.
