37 Services Now Available Online Through Nivesh Mitra

Officials stated on Wednesday that entrepreneurs now have access to 37 online services via the Nivesh Mitra portal, streamlining approvals and clearances. The number of applications and their timely resolution have grown significantly over the past five years. In 2024–25, 9,719 applications were processed—a 60% rise compared to 6,094 in 2020–21.

Investor satisfaction with the portal has also seen marked improvement. The feedback score in 2024–25 climbed to 96.63%, reflecting enhanced user experience and trust in the system.

Transparent, Time-Bound Land Allotments

To attract mega industrial investments, UPSIDA has significantly accelerated land allotment procedures. Mega units now receive land within 15 days, and the e-auction process duration has been reduced from 30 to 15 days. The waiver of double stamp duty by financial institutions has further strengthened investor confidence.

Integration of Cutting-Edge Technologies

UPSIDA is leveraging advanced tools to enhance industrial infrastructure management. Drone surveys and GIS One Map are being used to detect encroachments. Real-time project monitoring is enabled through MIS, OBPAS software, and mobile apps. Integration with the PM Gati Shakti portal is helping to align infrastructure projects with national logistics strategies.

A mobile application for patch management has also been launched to ensure timely maintenance of industrial roads and facilities.

A Vision for Industrial Leadership

The Yogi Adityanath-led government has reiterated its commitment to building a technology-driven, simplified, and transparent investment ecosystem, positioning Uttar Pradesh as an industrial powerhouse. UPSIDA’s digital-first approach is playing a key role in making the state one of India’s fastest-growing industrial economies.

About UPSIDA

UPSIDA (Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority) is a nodal agency responsible for promoting industrial growth and infrastructure development in Uttar Pradesh. It facilitates land allotment, policy implementation, and investor support to boost industrialization in the state.
