Lucknow: In a significant administrative move, the Uttar Pradesh government carried out a major reshuffle in the Forest Department late Friday night, transferring 15 Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers across various positions. The changes aim to enhance administrative efficiency, boost conservation efforts, and strengthen operations across different forest regions and corporations.
Senior-Level Appointments & Additional Charges
1995 bath IFS officer N. Ravindra, currently posted as Chief Forest Conservator (CFC) Wildlife, Western Kanpur, has been transferred and appointed as Additional Principal Chief Forest Conservator (APCCF), Audit and Non-Plan.
He has also been entrusted with three additional charges–
- APCCF, Information and Technology
- CFC, Action Plan
- CFC, Security and Vigilance
Meanwhile, Ram Kumar, serving as APCCF Project, has now also been given additional charge of CFC Project, Lucknow.
Forest Corporation Reassignments
In the Uttar Pradesh Forest Corporation, several notable changes have been made-
- Sanjay Kumar, GM Production, has been promoted as Additional Managing Director, while retaining GM Production and GM Bareilly roles.
- Shesh Narayan Mishra, CFC Southern Region, has been appointed GM Marketing and additionally assigned as Regional Manager HQ and Regional Manager, Kheri.
Regional Forest Zones & Publicity Roles
P.P. Singh, CFC Publicity-Promotion, has been transferred to CFC Rohilkhand Zone, Bareilly. He will also handle CFC Publicity-Promotion, Lucknow and Forest Conservator, Bareilly.
Dr. K. Ilango, CFC Project, has been moved to CFC Western Region, Meerut.
Pramod Kumar Gupta, CFC Court Case, now holds additional responsibilities as–
- CFC Administration (Non-Gazetted)
- CFC/Forest Use Officer, Production
- CFC Planning
