Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting with public representatives and senior officials at the Prayagraj Circuit House to review development works in the Prayagraj and Vindhyachal divisions. The meeting was attended by Members of Parliament, MLAs, Legislative Council members, and officials from key departments.

Focus on Balanced Regional Development

During the discussions, the Chief Minister emphasized that the benefits of development must reach all regions equally. He directed authorities to prioritize the completion of ongoing projects with an emphasis on timely execution and high quality. Regional balance was underlined as a key objective, with CM Yogi asking officials to accelerate approvals for infrastructure-related works, road connectivity, identification of accident-prone black spots, and overall road safety measures.

Assembly-Wise Work Plans and Public Involvement

The Chief Minister instructed the Public Works Department and the Charitable Works Department to prepare assembly-wise lists of proposals received from public representatives. These proposals, he said, should be numbered, tracked, and approved swiftly to ensure timely implementation.

In a move aimed at enhancing transparency and accountability, CM Yogi also directed that names of public representatives be inscribed on all foundation stone plaques of development projects. Furthermore, he asked the Urban Development Department to consult public representatives before preparing any development plan to ensure it aligns with the actual needs of the local population.

Boost for Infrastructure in Culturally Important Regions

Highlighting the cultural and religious significance of Prayagraj and Vindhyachal, the Chief Minister said that the government would focus on developing connectivity infrastructure, flyovers, logistics hubs, and bridges in the area. These initiatives, he added, would stimulate the local economy and improve convenience for both residents and pilgrims.

Post-September 5 Rollout of Key Projects

CM Yogi announced that after September 5, the government will begin Bhoomi Pujan and foundation stone laying ceremonies for selected schemes. All such projects will be launched only after completing technical evaluations, and their execution will adhere strictly to transparency, technical specifications, and quality standards.

The Chief Minister concluded the meeting by reiterating the government’s commitment to inclusive, efficient, and result-oriented development.
