The Uttar Pradesh government will promote 45 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in 2021. Seven officers of the 1996-batch will be promoted as principal secretary. Fourteen officers of the 2005-batch will be promoted as secretary and twenty-four officers of the 2008-batch will get a selection scale pay grade.
On Thursday, Chief Secretary of UP, Rajendra Kumar Tiwari held a meeting and approved the officers’ name for promotion. Now, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, will finally give his nod. It is expected that the official notification will come in the New Year.
Officers to be principal secretary: Dheeraj Sahu, Nitishwar Kumar, Anita C Meshram, Anil Garg, M Devraj, Subhash Chandra Sharma, V. Hekali Zhimomi
Officers to be secretary: Surendra Singh, Kanchan Verma, Dr Lokesh M, Govind Raju NS,
G Srinivasulu, Jitendra Bahadur Singh, Narendra Singh Patel, Rakesh Kumar Singh-1, Dinesh Kumar Singh, Shameem Ahmad Khan, Narendra Shanker Pandey, Digvijay Singh, Dr Ajay Shanker Pandey and Yogeshwar Ram.
Officers to get selection grade: Kinjal Singh, Somya Agrawal, Dr Saroj Kumar, K Vijendra Pandiyan, Pawan Kumar, Kumar Ravikant Singh, Dr Kajal, Amrit Tripathi, B Chandrakala, Anil Dhingra, Rajesh Kumar-1, Vidya Bhushan, Balkrishna Tripathi, Bhawna Srivastava, Chandra Bhushan Singh, Sarvyag Ram Mishra, Sahdev, Hemant Kumar, Vimal Kumar Dubey, Gyan Prakash Tripathi, Sukhlal Bharti, Vedpati Mishra, Radheshyam Mishra, and Akhilesh Singh.
