Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh is set to make a strong global economic statement at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, being held at India Pavilion, New Delhi, from November 14 to 27. Under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the state is participating as a “Partner State” alongside Maharashtra and Rajasthan, showcasing its “Local to Global” economic vision on an international platform.
The trade fair aims to establish Uttar Pradesh as a major hub for global trade while promoting the state’s rural and local products to international markets. The state government is also leveraging this opportunity to highlight its “One District One Product” (ODOP) scheme, youth startups, and women entrepreneurship.

As a partner state, Uttar Pradesh will feature 2,750+ exhibitors and 343 ODOP stalls, representing traditional and modern products from across the state. Among these, Agra’s renowned Petha, Banaras handicrafts, Bhadohi carpets, and Meerut sports goods will gain exposure to global buyers. Other featured products include Kanpur’s leather goods, Firozabad glassware, and Saharanpur wooden crafts. These items, showcased with modern packaging, digital marketing, and sustainable practices, are ready to enter markets in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
During the fair, ODOP producers will also participate in B2B meetings with international investors and trade delegations, providing direct opportunities to expand exports and enhance Uttar Pradesh’s global trade footprint.
Promoting Startups and Women Entrepreneurs
The state government is prioritizing the participation of 150+ young startups and women entrepreneurs, allowing them to present their innovative initiatives to a global audience. These startups not only create jobs but also strengthen the rural economy. Women entrepreneurs attending the fair symbolize both economic and social progress, stepping onto an international stage to showcase their enterprises. Special workshops and networking sessions will be organized to facilitate direct interaction with investors and potential buyers.
Expanding Global Market Access
The trade fair will also host ‘Global Market Access’ seminars and digital showrooms for ODOP products, aimed at attracting future investments and trade partnerships. The state government plans to engage with foreign embassies and trade delegations to prioritize export agreements, ensuring sustained growth for Uttar Pradesh’s local industries.
With its participation in IITF 2025, Uttar Pradesh is ready to take its local products to global markets, turning traditional crafts and rural enterprises into international brands while integrating the state’s grassroots economy with the global trade ecosystem.
