Dehradun: The Uttarakhand Cabinet, chaired by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, concluded a meeting at the Secretariat on Tuesday. The session, which began at 11:00 AM, lasted approximately one and a half hours, during which eight key proposals received approval.
The Cabinet also expressed condolences over the tragic plane crash involving Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, observing two minutes of silence for the departed souls.

Health Sector
- Health Worker and Health Supervisor Service Rules 2026 were approved under the Medical, Health, and Family Welfare Department, streamlining employment and service standards for health personnel.
Revenue and Land Management
- Rules were approved to determine procedures for land acquisition through mutual agreement with landowners for development projects in Uttarakhand.
Industrial Development
- Amendment approved for the transfer of 1,354.14 acres of land in Udham Singh Nagar (Prag Form) to SIDCUL for industrial development.
Tribal Welfare
- Departmental restructuring approved to improve the functioning of Scheduled Tribe welfare schemes in tribal-dominated districts: Dehradun, Chamoli, Udham Singh Nagar, and Pithoragarh.
- Uttarakhand Scheduled Tribe Welfare Gazetted Officer Service (Amendment) Rules, 2025 approved.
Water Resources
- Decision made to apply water charges/fees for non-agricultural use of groundwater in Uttarakhand.
