Raipur: Chhattisgarh chief minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday inaugurated the newly constructed Tehsil office in Dharampura, Raipur, marking a significant step toward providing citizens with efficient, accessible, and transparent administrative services.
Modern Facility to Enhance Public Service Delivery
Addressing the gathering, CM Sai emphasized that good governance aims to deliver services to citizens in a timely and transparent manner. The new Tehsil office is designed to fulfill this vision, ensuring that residents of Dharampura can access revenue and administrative services with greater convenience and speed.
He stated that the state government is committed to strengthening administrative infrastructure across both rural and urban areas, making it easier for citizens to avail themselves of essential government services without unnecessary delays.
Key Features of the New Tehsil Office
The modern Tehsil building, constructed at a cost of ₹66.20 lakh, houses essential units and facilities, including:
- Naib Nazir Office
- Record Room and Mal Jamaar
- Nakal Branch
- Lawango Office
- Bhuiyan and Land Records Branch
- Public Service Centre and Aadhaar Centre
In addition, the office includes clean drinking water and other basic amenities, ensuring a comfortable and citizen-friendly environment.
Strengthening Local Administration
CM Sai highlighted that the new facility will strengthen the local administrative framework and facilitate better implementation of government schemes. By centralizing essential services under one roof, the Tehsil office will improve efficiency and reduce procedural delays for citizens.

The inauguration was attended by key officials and representatives, including MLA Anuj Sharma, Divisional Commissioner Mahadev Kawre, Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh, Municipal Commissioner Vishwadeep, and District Panchayat CEO Kumar Bishwaranjan.
