In a recent administrative reshuffle, Raunak Agarwal, an IAS officer of the 2020 batch from West Bengal, has been transferred from his current position as Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) of Ranaghat, Nadia. He has now been appointed as the new Additional District Magistrate (ADM) of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal.
Mr Agarwal, who has been serving in the Ranaghat sub-division, is known for his efficient handling of local governance and administrative tasks. His new role as ADM will see him take on additional responsibilities in overseeing district-level administration in Jalpaiguri, a district located in the northern part of the state.
The transfer and new appointment are part of the state’s ongoing efforts to streamline administrative functioning and ensure effective governance at the district level.
