Lucknow: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday chaired a high-level meeting to review the progress and future roadmap of ‘Mission Karmayogi’ in Uttar Pradesh. The discussion focused on implementation strategies, training frameworks, digital platforms, and capacity-building initiatives across state departments.
Mission Karmayogi: Building a Future-Ready Administrative Workforce
The Chief Minister emphasized that Mission Karmayogi, a transformative initiative under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aims to develop a globally competent workforce rooted in Indian culture and values, capable of driving development at both the state and national levels. “The mission plays a key role in making governance responsive, accountable, and results-oriented, equipped to meet future challenges,” CM Yogi said.

Specialized Training Centers and Course Content
The Chief Minister instructed that capacity-building courses, including AI and cybersecurity, be introduced at all state training centers, including UP Administrative Service institutions, to enhance efficiency at the center level. Emphasis on Practical Training for Field Staff
Practical and work-based training will be prioritized for field personnel such as ANMs, ASHA workers, police constables, and employees of urban local bodies and Panchayati Raj institutions to improve service delivery on the ground. CM Yogi stressed that quality, regular evaluation, and practical utility of training programs must be ensured to achieve tangible improvements in governance.
