The Navratri fever is on in different parts of the country at present. While some are enjoying this time of year with Garba and Dandia, many are fasting on these nine days. Additional DGP, CID-Crime & Transport Commissioner, Odisha Mr. Arun Bothra, is also celebrating this Navratri, and is on fast. Due to some work, he had to travel. While he was on the flight, an incident with the flight crew member filled him with gratitude and happiness. The officer shared the incident on X (formerly Twitter), on which, the airline has also responded.
Mr. Bothra was onboard an IndiGo flight and couldn’t have anything as he was fasting. He told the crew member that he can’t have anything on the flight. However, a crew member’s efforts to accommodate his vrat restrictions touched his heart. He shared a photo of snacks received on the plane and wrote, “Mother Divine takes care of you in different forms. Today, she came as Purvi, an @IndiGo6E crew member. As I didn’t take snacks due to #Navratri fasting, she returned with Sabudana Chips, Til Chikki & tea. When I asked how much to pay, she said, ‘No money, sir. I am also fasting’.”
The snack also had a note with the words: “To Mr. Bothra, it was a pleasure having you onboard with us today. May Navdurga bless you with abundance. From Purvi”.
