Following Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s announcement, all four labor codes have been implemented across India, marking the most comprehensive reforms in workers’ rights since independence. The Prime Minister highlighted that these reforms will empower the country’s workforce, simplify compliance regulations, and strengthen the ease of doing business, benefiting both industries and employees alike.

Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai expressed his gratitude to PM Modi, stating that the implementation of the labor codes is a major milestone for Chhattisgarh’s industries, workers, and MSME sector. He emphasized that these progressive reforms will create a conducive environment for investment while empowering the workforce and stabilizing labor relations.

Boosting Industrial Development and MSME Growth

According to Mr. Sai, the labor codes will directly strengthen Chhattisgarh’s industrial development and attract new investments. They are aligned with the state’s “Industrial Development Policy 2024-30,” facilitating MSME expansion, generating employment, and positioning Chhattisgarh as a preferred destination for businesses due to simplified compliance and transparent processes.

Empowering Workers and Ensuring Welfare

The Chief Minister highlighted that workers will receive significant benefits, including effective minimum wage guarantees, social security coverage, safer workplaces, timely wage payments, and clarity on service conditions. These measures are expected to enhance living standards and foster stable industry-labor relations, creating a win-win scenario for both employers and employees.
