Mr. Yogi Adityanath highlighted that before 2017, idols of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha were being imported from China. “Today, thanks to initiatives like One District One Product (ODOP), beautifully crafted terracotta idols made in Uttar Pradesh are available in markets across India. The GI (Geographical Indication) tag has added immense value, opening up global markets for our artisans,” he said.
